Apple Watch required?
Not required. You only need a smartphone to fully operate the device. If you use an Apple Watch or other health tracking devices (such as smart rings), Apple Health or the companion health platforms of those respective devices can serve as convenient tools to observe long-term trends in your physiological metrics (such as heart rate or HRV), allowing you to monitor your body's relaxation status over time. Please note that the NeuroRester device itself does not monitor vitals, and we do not claim the device directly treats or optimizes these medical metrics.
Must I download the App?
Not strictly required. The CardioGyms module comes with a factory default auto-start schedule, and the NeuroRester module works in standalone mode. If you are satisfied with the default schedule, you do not need to download the App. However, if you wish to customize the CardioGyms auto-start times to fit your personal routine, you will need to download the App and pair the device via Bluetooth to adjust the settings.
